Our Summer Arch program runs for 6 weeks, June 28th to August 2nd. The program is open to players from the U8 age group to U13 age group. All sessions will take place at Celtic Park from 6-7 PM. All ages will train at the same time with multiple staff for the summer. Each session will be run by the Palatine Celtic professional staff.
All participating players will receive a program t-shirt. Players are encouraged to wear soccer cleats and must have the following in order to participate: socks that will cover their shin guards, bring water, and an appropriate size ball (size 4 for all players, except U13 who use a size 5 ball). Any questions, please contact JJ Ruane.
The Arch Program began in Fall 2017. The thought behind the Arch program was to provide a program that utilized professional training just like the travel program for all players in the community from U8-U12. It is a supplemental training program for our house players that want similar training that the travel player gets at Celtic without the commitment level.
All sessions are run by Palatine Celtic staff who are licensed by the US Soccer Federation or the United Soccer Coaches Association. We bring the same curriculum and training habits from the Celtic travel side to the Arch program. Players will learn how to pass and receive the ball, how to shoot the ball correctly, and grow their confidence in beating players 1v1 with moves they learn in the Arch program.
The Arch program is divided into seasons.
Questions regarding the Arch Program can be directed to JJ Ruane, Director of Soccer Operations.
