Overview

The Palatine Celtic Soccer Club is affiliated with the Palatine Park District and provides youth soccer programs for girls and boys ages 4-18. Our programs feature over 1,500 players in the Palatine Celtic Program. In 2018, we celebrated 50 years as a soccer club, one of Illinois' oldest and largest clubs.

Many Celtic players are current members of the Palatine HS and Fremd HS varsity teams, plus many more players at other schools in the surrounding area.

Palatine Celtic Soccer Club is also home to the Palatine Celtic Cup during Labor Day weekend featuring over 375 teams annually. We will be hosting our 43rd Celtic Cup in 2023 and looking forward to bringing close to 10,000 players into our community.

Mission

The Palatine Celtic SC mission is to provide the best youth soccer development training center in Illinois. We are at the forefront of player development and we produce players who are respectful, passionate, intelligent, and competitive both on and off the field.

Community

The Celtic SC philosophy puts players first. Our Directors and Staff have constructed a game model (how we play), a curriculum with an emphasis on education and player learning styles, and playing a style that guides our players to be confident and intelligent young players while under pressure. Our goal with every Celtic player is to develop good soccer players and outstanding people.

Professional Licensed coaches

All Celtic competitive teams are coached by USSF and NSCAA licensed coaches who often have collegiate and, in some cases, professional playing experience. As coaches, they’ve led players at all levels, and as players, they’ve been Celtic players themselves, high school varsity state champs, college scholarship earners, and professional players!
